Sled deck home build

I know this has been gone over cant really find any recent forms to ask this in but plan on building a deck 1.5 square tube what wall should I use was thinking .120 and how offer should I be putting in cross brace ever foot or what??? It's going on short box truck wanna make it around 8' with a beaver tail any help is greatly appreciated

20 yrs ago built a full size deck in Barrhead with a 3000 lb winch in case i had a dead sled. but after walking into it a few times..sold it. now when I sled alone and built a small single deck from scrap in my back yard.have about $250 invested including the tri fold ramp and 2 big 3 inch ratchet straps. its not pretty,,buy who cares.Most of you have trucks worth more than your sleds..not me! LOL

I am building a single deck for my F150. 7 foot deck plus the extra for the crossbar for the ramp and 5'-9" wide.
1x2 - .120 wall steel for the frame and ramp sides. 1x1 for the headache rack and ramp rungs. The ramp folds and is 10 feet long.
The welder in the pic is not what we used btw.

That's a nice looking deck pretty much want I want to build but double wide

I have to finish the ramp. We fabricated the hinges with flat bar and 5/8" round bar.
