Its not southern ab but jet craft marine makes tough decks , located in grande prairie mine is 8 years old and has yet to crack or really do anything negative .

I just had my aluminum deck modified and my ramps extended by "Snake Eyes Welding" in Milo,AB south east of Calgary an hour. He did a great job and will build custom decks how ever you want it made. His email is sumschied@live.ca and i will pm you his name and number.

I came across 4boysmfg.com a few months ago. A buddy of mine bought one of their sled decks a few weeks ago. I have never owned a Marathon but have friends with them and I've used them while out sledding in BC and AB. The 4boys company decks are better built with better welds, lights, and more upgrades included over Marathon, I think they have LED lights under for deck to light up the box as well. He bought the deck after a lot of time checking out decks our mutual friends who have a range of cheap to expensive.

After seeing my buddy's deck from them last week in person I ordered one from their Calgary dealer, arrives end of the week. Other reasons I picked it over others was the headache rack is usable for carrying work items I use for my job and the deck is all aluminum, no plywood etc. and they are adjustable to fit pretty much any full size truck.

Just my 2 cents.
