Check out David's vintage sled site. There were close to 200 brands world wide over the years. There were lots of sleds that were built in large garages etc. There were sleds built by one company and makerted by others. Polaris built sleds for a company and they put their glass on them and called them Snow Trac. The only built 200 of them. There sure are some what if's I really wonder what if had Kawaskai stayed in the game. They make some really good bikes, and they had fast sleds back in the day. Check out the Sleds the Relic Riders club show each year at the ASA shows.

Was there a manufacturer for a Playmate? I know Polaris had a Playmate in their lineup during the '60s and very early '70s

The hardest ones to name are the companies that had a single customer; Arlburg comes to mind. Their only customer was, i believe, Husky Oil.

Sears sold sleds but did not build them. IIRC Ariens built sleds for Sears.

If you look at this unit.....it is the start of the Honda Odyssey.....just add wheels and it it the ATV....think it was called the FL250?
