Sled and rider fall into crevace..Kakwa

Buddy of mine sent me this today...insane

Sled disappears with rider Feb/21/09 Sir Alexander Mountain Just South of Kakwa Lake The Sled was @ 70' . The Kid from Sexsmith was not hurt. He
was wedged @ 90' . The guys used 100 ' of rope to pull him up. Left the Sled
there for a week. Retrieved the Sled on March/1/09.The insurance company paid for the Chopper.

crazy stuff for sure. someone posted about it on SnoWest a few weeks ago, pics came a week later. anyone that's ridden near the glacier knows about the crevasses, most stay off. very lucky he was, to not get seriously injured or killed.

I got this in an email last week, that's crazy. How lucky do you have to be to fall 90' and get wedged between anything and not be hurt, probably need a change of shorts though.

His name is Kory he works for the same company as I do. He has produced his own stunt video called Black Sprocket Productions, he's pretty crazy. Said he got a bunch of video footage for his new upcoming video release.
As far as I remeber he did not really mention getting hurt the sled was a right off though.
