Looks like this years Slave Lake rally is scheduled for June 6th!

is the rally good for family or is it miles of deep holes.muds fun but was at harmon valley a few years ago and not really a family friendly ride kids didn't enjoy that much getting stuck

Went last year to Slave Lake rally, had a blast. Not much to compare it to as it was the first rally my family had attended but the wife, myself and youngest daughter all had a great time. There were a lot of mud holes and we did have to winch out a couple of times. Majority of the mud holes had trails in the bush to go around so getting stuck could have been avoided if we wanted to. Work schedule appears that I will be off so we are planning on attending this year as well.
