I've trapped and released lots of skunks, only time I've been sprayed was in the chicken house when I stomped one for killing a bunch or our chicks.
Put a blanket over the cage, take for a drive and prop the door open, walk away and the skunk will usually walk out in a few minutes. Sometimes... I've had to shake them out of the cage too if their to big to turn around.
My dogs have been sprayed at least once a year each, never learned a lesson. Best way to clean them is mix a paste of dish soap, hydrogen peroxide and baking soda mix. Rub on for a few minutes, then wipe off. Don't get dog wet afterwards for a couple days.

We had them bad a few years ago. Trapped 12 of them. Shot them all in the head and the smell isn’t bad usually.

Conibear traps guys , not leg holds . Kills em with no smell . But try to get Belisle , there alot tighter the victor Conibears. use the Double sping ones . Relocating a skunk is useless as they are back a few days later unless you take em a long ways away. 5 - 10 miles dont mean ch!t .

Once you have skunks others come to the aroma, you will be skunked usually forever.
They are always at farm same two buildings. When I was in high school record summer was 17 skunks, no repeats as all were shot.
Saw 6 with one old one in pasture once.
They eat catfood out of the cats bowl by barn, cats on one side skunk on the other.
One happy family.

Mice are the same. They pizz their way into vehicles and buildings so others can find the way.

I've been lucky so far also. Just prop the door open and take a few steps back.

I take mine to the other side of the N. Sask. If they are that ambitious, they are welcome back.

Caught another one this morning.
Been drowning them in an old garbage can full of water.

That's 3 now.

I had a family of 5 a few years back. Kids thought we had a bunch of stray cats and wanted to pet them.

Think we found their den. Under one of out sheds. See if we catch another soon.
Part of the weasel family so there must be a food supply not far for that many to be around. The anti-freeze idea comes to mind or drano/weiners, otherwise 22's work best.

Well, that is where the lumber and old fence wood and pallets are kept. And inside that shed is my fire wood.
Just up the hill from it is the bird feeder. Lots of sunflower seeds there.
