Timbersled had a similar version a few years ago, pricing was about the same thats why i said no, but I did see them work and they are pretty impressive

$500 dollars is laughable,I built a similar set for the boys kitty cat I'm sure I could build a build a set for larger skis.When I get some time I'll build a prototype and see what people think.

I plan on building a set of these for myself and I picked up 6" steel wheels with bearings at PA for $9.00 each.

Just have to find the time to build them.
