Skidoo alpine snowmobile

Anyone ever have one of these ? It's got a twin track single ski would this be good for ice fishing ? How would it be in deeper snow ? Thing looks like a trappers dream machine

Seen one drive up Renshaw trail and light on fire at the cabin.

Used to groom snomobile trails with one, first its a workhorse and will go through a lot of snow. Don't know if it would climb in deep snow very well though, for a trapper would work good but does like fuel. Very warm to ride with big window and heat from motor right there.

My Grandpa and Uncles all used them on their traplines. Not a hillclimber, but on reasonably flat ground they'll drag a lot of weight in a skimmer. Without the skimmer they can go through 3 feet of snow quite easily. Grandpa used to be the trailbreaker in the 60's up in the Yukon when we went out for family rides, 20 hp was a big machine then

Check out something like a Skandic SWT, much better than an Alpine IMO.
