Have you tried the chinaskid yet?
Ya there were tonnes of the excavators in the last Richie’s.Ya it works very good for 2250. Spread out 12 yards of gravel with it already. Good for tight spaces that you cant get the big ones.
Was bidding on those little chinese excavators today, but got out bid. I only bid 1500 though and they sell for about 2500$
Have a kabota so dont need one but if i can get one under 2g why not.
A buddy just started selling at the local Kubota dealership. Thiers sells for 45k he was telling me. That's nuts! 2500 sounds much better
Yeah that’s the thing.. brand name is 10x the price minimum. I realize it’s not apples to apples but dang!A buddy just started selling at the local Kubota dealership. Thiers sells for 45k he was telling me. That's nuts! 2500 sounds much better

So are you still happy with the purchase of the mini? At first I shrugged it off now I think I want one... There are many good videos about the differences on youtube between different models.
Thanks that’s what I was afterYa Im happy with it. I'm not doing 12 hours shifts with it though, its an hour or 2 here and there. Works great for that.
If you needed to used it every day for working might be worth getting the Kabota.
Only Issue I had was a track falling off, just have to tighten it up after a few hours. Its stretch's out a bit at first.
They are pretty simple, easy to work on if you had too. Any hydraulic replacement parts you could get at princess auto, could get a new engine for it for 500$ lol
I might add some counter weights and a couple braces so it could lift a bit more weight. over all it was a good purchase
Yuppers, did some trenching with it this fall for a new gas line.Anyone get the cheap Chinese mini hoe?
And? I need one for the same reason. Worth the few grand?Yuppers, did some trenching with it this fall for a new gas line. View attachment 291147
Yes, the bucket was a bit wide for a 1" gas line but worked fine. Drop the shitty engine oil that comes in them when you get it, we switched all the grease zerks out to regular ones. If you're going to be running it in the heat install a fan on the side of the cage to help get more airflow to the engine. And? I need one for the same reason. Worth the few grand?
