A friend of mine that has a construction business brought out a hoe and Kubota steer to do some dirt work for me to prep a pad for a barn build. He ran the hoe, another buddy ran the gravel truck hauling wet clay and I was on the skid steer levelling the loads, all I can say is holy chit does that thing push! It was either a 90 or 95 series I’m not sure but it would push clay piles like a D6… ok maybe not quite but you get my drift. Very user friendly, smooth controls and really like the sliding door, would definitely consider purchasing a Kubota before anything else.

One complaint I have with My ssv65 is the switches are not illuminated. Need to turn the dome light on or use a headlamp to see them in the dark.

It's funny how a guy takes the little things like that for granted. That would be bloody annoying

Switches aren't expensive. I wonder if it's a mod that could be done.
The switches may have the backlight in them and just not be wired to activate the light. Could be a super simple "upgrade"

Anyone ever try one of these chinese mini skidsteers?

Been watching some YouTube reviews on them. Seem to work good for smaller jobs. I have a few jobs coming up that require a mini skid steer. Might buy one for the same cost as renting a brand name unit.
Used a ditch witch brand this spring and it worked really good.

i used a toro one from home depot with the post hole attachment. Worked Fkn fantastic. looking at the toro there wasn't anything special about it just a regular brigs and Stratton gas engine so i cant really see why the chinese ones that come with the same engine wouldn't perform. The toro does have much beefier lift arms compared to that one is the only diff i can see

Brother-in-law bought one of those and a mini excavator. Got them both really cheap brand new from Richie Bros. auction. He took him to work this week and I should be able to find out how they did?

Report back.

Ya the arms look a bit weak on that one.

There is other ones around that look a bit better for the same price
