A product test for Between the LInes Designs. The SKI - Z scratchers were given a real world test in the spring of 2013. Scratchers are needed most in the mornings with the frozen icy conditions. PART II, showing new snow conditions will be done in the next little while with new snow for up-coming season. The new design has a zinc coating and that will be used to run the new testing in December.

The wire rail mounted ones were the most disappointing scratchers I have ever bought. Tying two shoe laces to the side of my rails probably would have done a better job. And before your try to say I didn't install them right I followed the instructions to a t and then tried everything that's suggested on their website with no luck. Maybe I got a crappy pair but I would not recommend them to anyone from my experience. I hope these ski ones work well!

Awesome. Im thinking about getting these to run all the time. No lifting up and dropping, just riding!

I really like the idea, I as an ad in Amsnow and checked out their site last week. I was waiting for someone to so testing so thanks for that, but I keep thinking they are going to hang up on stuff, I know they swivel but the front looks like it hangs down too far and would get caught on debris.

You saw the rocks I was riding over! No hang up and no damage.

Once up into the pow, a quick couple of turns and put them into storage. Similar to putting up the spring type scratchers. I have been informed there are new zinc plated ones coming out for this season. Check 'em out!

You know where you can order them in Canada?

nevermind i see they have a dealer section on website.

I think these will be perfect for ditch bangers. I was riding a home and theres a trail that uses the ditch for a bit on and off, so i was on hard pack having to drop my scratchers then i was in powder side hilling and zig zagging the ditch and the side of my track was all frayed from im guessing side hilling my scratcher into the side of my track? would love that i can just have these on and forget about over heating and ride on pack or powder with out lifting and dropping the scratchers.

Great idea. Mike Palumbo used to craft up something similar with a bolt and spring. These look a little more polished and a little easier to take off. I am buying a couple of sets.

Cause you never know when you may back up with the scratcher's down .
