I have found a good alternative to Polaris soft skinny ski rubbers.

I found an aftermarket version that is almost twice as wide and a lot firmer. They will be about $20 each. Being wider and firmer it is a little more effort to get the ski bolt back through but after starting the bolt on the outside, I put a wooden block under the inside edge of the ski and the weight of the sled forced the ski straight enough to slide the bolt through.

Minor trimming is required but it is easy with a sharp knife.

I have been riding with these for several rides and the ski definitely likes to sit flat now.

I will be stocking these ski rubbers for customers in the future but just thought I would post to see if there is much interest?

Id be in for a set when my stockers fall apart.

Shouldn't be long before that happens ; )

Actually I think as the skis wear and stretch around the saddles, they go through rubbers much faster.

Using the rev rubbers in a couple of sleds. Skis stay flatter and don't fold back nearly so easily so less stucks. Hoping to get a couple of sets of the new aftermarket ones to try.

I've got these stiffer ones in both my Axys's and they have worked real well! Significantly firmer and makes it easier to set a side hill going through bumps as the ski does not move as much. Only negative was one was a bit of a challenge getting one on but a chunk of 4x4 blocking the inside of ski as Chris noted plus a big screwdriver to line up the hole plus a bit of a love tap with a hammer and it all come together. No regrets!
