Too bad there are no Western Canadian dates on their "demo tour schedule" Any plans for the local doo dealers to be doing demo rides of these machines?

I'm not positive, and I'm sure somebody else may be able to speak to it further... but Bow Cycle here in calgary is holding a Demo Ride down towards Crowsnest on Jan 30th and they mentioned about the possiblility of having a 'surprise'. The article i saw was posted before the annoucement from SkiDoo, but maybe thats what they were eluding too??

I have sold a few 600 e-tec units and customers put mbrp cans on before it left the shop, sounds killer.

Not according to sledslut....you will lose about 3-4000 on the first year. Said she was selling summits for new 09's for 11000 this year. That being said, we would probably lose 4500-5000 just trading it in after 1 year. The thought of a new 800 E-Tec is tempting but not after hearing that.
