Full calibration is not done and will not be until summer but these are some of the tings being worked on after some of the findings from engineering. Also upgrades to current model sleds have not been decided on, but I assume it will be much like in 2017 to 2018 and a bulletin will release that info when they have it and what it includes. I created this video with Ecko Marine and Powersports to let people who are not on facebook hear the info the engineers released at Ski-Doo Club in New Orleans. Cheers dave

Thanks Dave for the info you pass on thru this site. I am one of the silent majority that enjoy your updates. I known your are often in a no win situation on this site. Hope you keep the updates coming as it seems to me that the “mountain sledding “ component of the main BRP web site is a little weak and I am not Facebook literate.

Cheers Buddy, we are going to move all my posts into one area in the next few and then the guys that need the info or like it will have an easier time finding all of it, and the guys who don't never have to see it. It will be awesome! Happy Riding! And thanks to the Curtis and Ron at Snow and Mud, they do a wicked job!

Dave you seem like a really nice guy and provide a ton of good information in your videos.

But really....doo is still investigating their clutching problems after two years of sales to the paying customer and sill no concrete answer to their clutching woes????
Coming out yearly at snowcheck season to make promises of fixes that cost even more to install?
And then charging those paying customers for the bandaid you are holding in your hands - temporary free belts was a nice temporary touch though and it was appreciated.
Doo is an industry leader and more is expected of leaders.

No one will say or address were all this heat is coming from.
Doo can not fix the issue that is plaguing some of the sleds until they address where the heat is coming from.

Paragon had the answer to long belt and clutch life long ago, Team has it figured out also.
Zero scrub clutching.
Doo has chosen to build continuous scrubbing into their clutching system with their 25thou wobble.

Now I don' claim to know more than a doo engineer........
But I don't have to cover up my mistakes year after year either.

Oh don't get me wrong, the band aids you are holding are helping but clearly not the answer if doo is still investigating the persistent problem.
Now doo is making a ton of money selling extra belts and bandaids so it ain't such a bad deal.
Unless you are one of the unlucky ones with a belt burner, be it a smaller and smaller number each applied bandaid.

To bad this nagging problem is not being solved after two years of public R&D, the rest of the sled is impressive.
Keep up your good information Dave but if you can put some pressure on BRP to solve their clutching problem, it would be appreciated by all those affected.
And yes Dave I know you do not personally have the answers, but you do have connections..

Dave awesome vids as per the normal..
i have a question are the new motor mounts available I only ask is my 2018 165 3” x shot
main crank bearing scored and is very tight so my dealer is putting in a new short block.
1420km also had a belt scalped at 1100km
so can I get these mounts ASAP because my dealer has had my sled for 27 days now and motor should be here Friday most likely Monday. But would like them to put them in since they have it pulled out.

Why do mods keep deleting my posts??

Is it that unreasonable to ask why BRP cant offer an unconditional 1000km warranty on belts? Maybe try standing behind their customers rather than profiting from their faulty engineering. What a joke.

Your too honest bud lol, and you are correct. Whats the point of a 4 year bumper to bumper warranty when the word “wear item” come up. Some claims dont even put in cause the dealer opinion that its a waste of time, cause they have had a claim denied by BRP on another customers sled.
Hard to document a issue with BRP when its blocked at the dealer.

Have you talked to your skidoo dealer about belts since they were at the 2019 release? They might be helping people out now

Mods are deleting posted because this isn’t the guy to answer warranty and complaints. That’s is your dealers job.
All dave does is gets the latest info about products to the world of Digital Media.
This is not a protection for Doo but protection for an advertising guy.
If you want to complain there are dedicated threads to those comments.
Sorry but this is the way it is.

As I stated MarCos, there are other active threads where you can express your thoughts about BRP.
Dave’s job is a Guy who shares new product releases only. His title is what it is.
Heck, I’m called an Administrator on the site...title only.
Sorry, don’t wanna pizz anyone off but this is the way it is.

This isn't the real world. This is an internet forum. How does saying that something or someone is a stupid joke help anyone?

Maybe BRPcares would have chimed in on his situation......

I have seen BRPcares look into denied warrenty claims on here before.

And how do you know what Dave's official title is? He is kinda the face of the company now so I am sure he hears it all.
I don't know for sure but I assume Dave is continuously giving feedback to BRP engineers.

And lastly this thread was about upgrades to a product that isn't performing well. Not some wiz bang new mousetrap. Warrenty is definitely applicable to this topic.

Classic doo and mud.
