Hey guys just thought i would ask everybodys thoughts on the new ski-doo 1200, I do understand that if a guy bought one you would have to put on a long track. Oh and how about 1200 turbo vs Nytro turbo?

I think a lot of us are waiting for that head to head Stevo. Yami tuners have had a few seasons to work out a reliable turbo package, I would expect it to be another year or so before solid and consistent results are available from the 'Doo guys. I sooo want one....:d

Doo builds 2 four stroke motors for each 2 stroke they build. They have an outboard division, motorcycle division and aero division. The prototypes are working amazing from what I hear. Once the few stealth units that are being built are up and running, there will be some good showdowns this year. Mass production units I would suspect that next years will have more bugs worked out (as Teeroy stated).

Were 2 turbo 4 strokers mountain sleds at the Calgary show this past weekend. Speciality sleds in Edmonton had a couple there. Looked very nice. 1 without any fluids weighted in at #498. Not bad for a 4 stroker. Yamaha look out DOO coming by

Well i know that my old boss ken from specialty was at the calgary sled show with his doo 1200 with a turbo.162 track and it was sitting on a set of scales.. he told me that it weighed in at 509lbs with all fluids in it except it didn't have any gas in it.. And i know of a nytro supercharged 159 track that was put on the scales with all fluids and no gas and it came in at 594... The pic of the nytro on the scales in my pictura album on my profile.. But hoping that this new venture by doo will benefit everyone as it should make yam step up to the plate a bit better in the weight department.

They are alot like the XP there aren't alot of area's to take weight out of them.. You can change the rear skid, front arms, seat, and once put on boost the air box can be deleted(need race sled parts to do this one)... Main weights savers.
