Dale and I are the two dudes trying to keep things up to snuff. Others follow quietly in our footsteps hoping and praying that the promised updates will come. Great to see there will be fruition to the promises. Keep up the good work Ron!

One thing I would like to see changed is when you are on a forum listing page, like General Discussions for example. Each thread title is highlighted in dark blue and bold print. But the thread posters name is written just below the title and unless you have the typing fingers of a 12 year old girl a person often hits their name by mistake and then you get taken to their profile page!! Some separation between the two would be nice for us old guys with fat fingers that can't see that well!

Yeah, little things like this would go a long way to making it phone and tablet friendly.

I've seen a feature on other forums too where multiple posts in a row by the same person or a certain span of time were merged together into one big post.

I didn't go through all the pages but I like the idea of no changes. Anytime a forum changes things it becomes a real PITA to relearn everything.

Sometimes as technology changes we are forced to make changes. Sadly yes sometimes it creates issues. Sometimes it's seamless and wonderful. Our software is way outdated and needs some updates. We will do our best to make it the same as we have now

I would like to know what you wish to see changed, fixed, added or deleted from this site. I have contracted one of the site builders that developed this site and have to go through and make a list of issues, deletions, and additions for him to complete. Not all will be done but several will be done. We have purchased a new server that we will migrate to after the site update is completed. The update of the site will be done mid February as that is when Chris from Forum Excellence is available. I may ask him to interact here with users as well as that's what he did previously.
The new server is with the same web host, it will just have a lot more space and be even more efficient that the previous one.

I would assume this hasn't/won't happen(ed)? There sure haven't been any repairs/fixes/updates, as it's still a complete pain in the ass to post from a PC.

I don't think that is a web site problem as much as how your preference are set on your end.....I posted a fix on this a year or two back....I think it will solve your issues....let me look for that and get back at you
