You can also check out the Braamp deck made by the 2 brothers in Prince Albert SK.
Have seen these in use for a few years and work well.
Tailgate is removed so no rock chips.
They were also featured on dragons den episode.

Seen a few of those. They look like they work pretty good.
But so does a tri fold ramp for $300.00.

i have never used one myself, not a marlon but one that looks identical to that is used in valemount. Will who is a local and works with varda and zacs uses one and loves it. i talked with him the other year and he said it is the best thing for him, super easy and fast, and since he never hauls other sleds felt it was the best way to go.

From what I’ve seen marlon makes a solid product that looks slick. As stated above if there was one where tailgate was removed might be ideal as we do travel in harsh conditions to say the least

i see one downfall its sitting on a 3/4 pc of plywood loading up and putting into place 100% of the weight is going to be on your tail gate. As well as snow getting packed into the wheels and making it a pain to move... just my thoughts

As for the Braap deck, I'm looking to keep my tailgate on, and something smaller to store when not in use. but they are slick props to those guys.
Yeah did the trifold ramp for a while but I don't want to trash the tailgate and box with the carbides. and then where does the ramp go, rub against the sled...

That Nash outfit makes a knock off for 1k I may give it a try..

Anyone want a cheap deck.....
its a short-box Denali new plywood and lights, short box

oh I have nice heavy duty tri fold for sale as well.... lol

I will put them in the classifieds in a bit.

This is the one I have. Works very well for me. I can manage it myself easily. Use turn buckles and locks to keep it safe. I leave the tailgate on and have yet to see any damage whatsoever.

I thought the cost was really decent at the time i bought it. Even shipped it to Edmonton for a couple extra bucks.

after seeing that pic i have a sled deck where slide is damaged, if pulled out both slides could be a single sled hauler with ramp like that, except high enough to close tailgate. got me thinking to maybe sale it as a single sled hauler

I built my own version of that years ago and it worked very well. My daughter still uses it. Mine didn't sit on the tailgate though. Deck rolled on rollers on a frame that mounted into the trailer hitch and extended just beyond the tailgate. Could leave your tailgate off for the winter if you wanted to.
