Silva vs Sonnen

Sonnen is a beast and grinds the s*it out of people, he doesn't make it look pretty but he gets the job done. I predict the same as the last fight between them, 5 rounds of ground and pound and taking the fight to Silva. If Sonnen plays it smart he has a good chance. It will be a slow fight but in the end takedowns score points and Sonnen always finds a way to take it down. He smashed Brian Stann a little while ago, and Brian Stann is a beast, strong, fast, and smart....... also has better take down defense than Silva, hell so does Bisping and Sonnen took a lackluster fight to him and again grinded out the win on points. Chael just needs to keep his arm and head away from the long limbs of Silva on the ground, play a smart ground and pound and frusturate Silva till the bitter end

The reason he lost the last fight was becuase it was on the ground... And Brian Stann is a nobody........Theres are reason they never promoted him! Silva was dicking around on the last fight... That will not happen again. Night night Sonnen.

Generally when a fighter looks like he is dicking around it's either because he is scared or because he is confused as to why his attack isn't working like it has so many times in the past. This is the big leagues, these fighters aren't going into these fights to show off and no matter what they say, they prepare to the fullest. When a fighter has a bad showing or loses or whatever, they always say they didn't prepare to much for the fight or next time Ill train harder and take it more serious or I was hurt for periods of my camp etc etc. In the end it's an excuse, just like all the guys getting busted for roids..... they all know what their job is and if they weren't trying to perform to their fullest they would not be there. I love how when someones favorite fighter loses they are all over the excuses just to try and defend their choice in fighter or maybe defend their knowledge of MMA or who knows why.......? These guys give it their all. You think if Silva was dicking around with Sonnen he would of waited till the last 2 mins of the 25 min fight to make his move to take home the win....... give yer head a shake. He would of realized after the first round that wow that ground and pound just hurt a bit maybe Ill fight harder the next round. Any fool could see the look in Silva's face after the first round, he was very worried, his weakness was exploited early in the fight and now he was forced to do some quick thinking and try to defend something that he had no answer for. Talent wise, Silva is far and above Sonnen, no doubt, but every fighter has their "kryptonite" and Silva's is a guy like Sonnen. A guy who doesn't give a S*it about style or winning in a big way, who is just there to get the job done. At the end of the day the belt looks the same whether you won it by KO, submission or by decision, and Sonnen is gonna give it another try, better than any other challenger to Silva's throne. He may win or he may not, but one thing is for sure there is nobody at the moment that has a better chance than he does

Fighters are going into these fights to show off??? his last 10 fights thats ALL he was there to do!!!! Dana even told him if he didnt stop screwing around they were going to boot him! I think Sonnen is a great fighter no doubt.... I just think if Silva had not been screwing arounbd so much in the first fight it would have gone much different. I think silva chalked Chael up as all the same soup cans the UFC has been throwing at him latley.....That is not the case! Unless he goes into that fight knowing he finally has a contender........I think chael will do the same damn thing and walk on him again... Chael is on a different level then all the last guys that Silva has been fighting.

He goes so far as to being an idiot that he has a translator speak for him and he speaks english just fine, seen a couple of interviews with smaller MMA news shows over the years and his english is good, above all the Whitecourt Tim Hortons employees level thats for sure. But only time will tell for the result, Im hoping his reign is over, its been to long

Who gives a crap if he speaks english..its not his natural language.....So he doesnt do it! Part of his mistuiqe! Classless losers sell! Anyone that thinks silva isnt the best fighter in the world.... is dreaming. How can people overlook the most important part............The first time he fough sonnen..........as of EVERY OTHER FIGHT he has ever been in.......He was screwing around. hands by his hips.......dicking around dodging everything....and he got embarrased. Your sadly mistaken if you dont think he is going to go into this fight FULL BORE and just RIP SONNEN APART. He has a point to prove now that he never has before. I dont think anybody has ever seen silva go full tilt.....And I would imagine this would be this first time. Hes going to go FULL BLAST until sonnen is close to defated.... then hes going to piss around again and just hurt him. Sorry to say but Silva would also tear jones apart. Jones is a try hard... which is GREAT! Silva......is bulldozing everybody and a quarter throttle. T-Team.. I agree with you about Silva being untouchable. IN HIS CLASS, but i disagree about him and Bones Jones. Jones is better and tougher. Would love to see that fight, but Silva said no to it. Oh well keep lining them up right. Good fights last night tho.
