Want to ride the sled around home a bit. Wondering if it’s safe to run it at 3000 ft. I run straight av gas in the sled. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I'd think you'd be alright running straight av. I've been as low as 4k feet on straight pump with mine. You would need to throw more weight in the primary for sure though
So is there something proprietary to this kit that makes it pump gas or just can ride it hard till you get to 8000ft?Keep out of the go lever and shouldn't be any issue

So at 5000ft you get a full 8lbs and below it cuts the boost back? They're designed for 5000 and up. Anything under that and you'd need to run some extra octane and different clutching. I believe it will not lower boost enough to ride that sub 5k on pump gas
It adjusts boost with elevation changes. I don't know exact numbers but I'd say you're probably around the 5lb mark at 5k. Just a guess
I believe they are considered at sea level are they not? The boondocker turbo on my 2011 Assault is suppose to be a 6 lb kit when purchased and I've never seen much under 7 on the boost gauge (I live at 3800' and have rode as low as 2000-2500') and as high as 9+ in golden or Revy.
