Think we landed on a new wolverine 850 today . I’ll think it over till late next week to make sure I am not rushing into it. Is there any reason I shouldn’t buy this unit ? And does anyone know the hp#s on the 850 ? Seems to be hard to find

We like our 850 r-spec for general trail riding and utility, but it would be hard to pass up buying the 1000 when given the choice.

New 2 new on the Wolverine it’s 4k difference in price. Think it’s worth that? I drove a rmax 1000 this weekend and the suspension was amazing but the noise was really bad

Heavy machine. 1000 would be a huge difference in performance. Noisy side-by-sides has not been addressed. As they get better and faster they get louder interiors. I drive mine with earplugs. It also helps so I don’t hear my passengers screaming lol

I have a test ride booked for tomorrow on the 850 se if it rides decent I’ll put a deposit on it and pick it up on the weekend. If I don’t like the ride I’ll probably suck it up and do the rmaxx which is about 6k more and tell the wife to get ear plugs lol

This is the one I looked at this weekend. Got 900km on it ran fine but the outside is a bit rough just scratched up bunch is all and the tires were gouged up a bit but it’s a off road rig so whatever I guess.

Honestly I don’t care a whole bunch about the power as long as it isn’t a complete turd but 70hp should do what I want. Sorry guys probably should have been one post

This looks good. Price decent. Low km

Anyone I know with an rmax is super happy with it.

Ended up getting the x2 850 se from our local dealer today. We drove the ramax to today and it’s definitely nicer but the x2 will suit our needs and I can buy it outright . Seems like it’s the happy medium of the ones I looked at . Going to pick it up Friday.

Was looking at this kabota today. Its no turbo X3 with smart shocks, but its like a caddy inside though. Roll down side windows even Be a good work horse. Might be time to trade the ranger.

We have a couple at work and they're nice but the diesel maintenance... had one missing a clamp on the air intake/filter from factory and the turbo died early....

Thank you all . Yeah it kind of comes down to a Polaris or can am I think . How capable are the defenders or commanders or say a Yamaha wolverine ? Or is that just a more utility thing ?
I LOVE my wolverine.... it's an older one - 2017 700Rspec. Perfectly reliable, comfortable, full skid plate with 1/8" A-arm protection on all 4 corners. I upgraded the tires to 28" Blackwater evolutions with a 2" lift, thew a soft cab on it and use a JBL Xtreme 3 for tunes. I lucked out and got mine with under 2000km - now she's at 4500, based on what I'm seeing I should be able to expect 25-30k km if properly maintained.

I don't own one and never have but my only advice would be not to buy a wild cat after the stories from people I know that have had them......
Wildcats are junk - My buddy is on his third (glutton for punishment) my 2014 1000x got me 350km and cost me over $7k and still is not right..... that's why I bought the Yamaha
