why do you guys have to turn every thread on this site into a complete disaster? This is getting ridiculous already.
I did say something that I wasn't going to be able to put a plug out there for the shop Cause of that, but someone else did so...Hey Jeff. Are you going to be the official spokesperson of the new store and do you know if they would like to become a Support Sponsor of S&M? This thread has probably helped a tad with the new start, maybe just run the thought by your bosses.
Off topic...... Jacky and I are trying to hash out some dates this spring, to come and hang out with you and Jackie again. Hopefully go for a light day ride, depending on my arm healing.
Wow!! 13 pages on a new shop and all the bickering and stupid nonsense on this forum, no wonder I stopped checking out this site. It's a new shop great for everyone yes!! The more places to shop the better for us buyers, if you don't like the rate or what they sell don't shop there, pretty simple concept! Wish we would have that much interest in the conditions thread and maybe get an update from the 100plus riders a day??? Just my rant. Peace out Snow and mud!
Been building and selling parts, sleds and service with Powder Lites Inc for over 18 years,
Have worked and race sleds, Bikes, etc since 1975, 43 YEARS Always do our best to help people out and get them going.
Parts that MPM gets from Powder Lites is breaking the rules? I supply a service that is needed and most others shops don't do. Welding, Machining, digging up parts or robbing our own stuff to get guys going. I might be old but I have experience over most guys with a great memory.
Bottom line is always the rules don't work for this area as this is a sledding destination/tourism where customers need parts now and service now which means what I have been telling BRP guys for years. Revelstoke/Sicamous need service, parts and warranty center like what is setup at Fullspeed now to help this industry. Yeah Powder Lites, and Mac's Machine, have lower labour rates but a lot lower overhead as well. Customers still phone and we have done work til midnight or fix a sled early Sunday morning as well.
Yes they purchased both stores in Calgary.I may be late to the party but word on the street is the owner of MPM has acquired Bow Cycle in Calgary as well?
At least that's what one of the staff there told us.
So are we finally going to have a competitor to banner and there inabilty to stock any parts?
Is an sensing some ultra deep pockets.Yes they purchased both stores in Calgary.
Gord is the manager not the owner. The owner owns Thermal King I was told.Is an sensing some ultra deep pockets.
Where is gords money from?
The Sicamous building looks awesome.
I hear banner was given the ok to put one in sicamous or salmon arm. From what I hear BRP had agreed to a dealer in Sicamous if he purchased both Bow Cycle locations and then decided not to grant a dealership in Sicamous so the doors are closing. I can understand how you can't keep an organization of that size and investment open on just rentals and retail sales but it's a shame they couldn't get a BRP dealership.
The staff and facility were both top notch and I'm sad to see it go. How can you beat the service of 7 days a week 7 to 7 it was amazing to walk in and get what you need when you wanted instead of conforming to usual dealer hours.
