Keep hearing rumours they're shutting down, starting to think there might be something to it but who knows. I think in the past they made a lot doing custom builds and their own kits but that seems to have dropped off drastically.
By the number of Yamaha you see out there selling a Yamaha sled must be a tough one. The guys who buy those and mod them to work in deep snow are few. Might be different if the y had product that worked out of the box like they had many years ago.

brp needs to start doing surveys about there customer experiences like other big businesses do once you leave a dealer
Banner wouldnt fair so well and might be a wake up call for brp to allow some competition dealers

You must have short term memory loss or have your head in the snow.

The Sidewinder is out of the box mountain ready. If you can't ride that machine you should probably stick to the groomers.

Or the old age home.

In recent years yes anything Yamaha has needed aftermarket boost but the Sidewinder is no joke. Unless you're a dirty tree bum like me or a spring time hucker it's the most capable sled available off the dealer floor. 75% of guys would be happy with it stock, another 15% would want to couple the skid and the last 10% want a 174 other than that Yamaha nailed it.

But for MPM I think they really would have had success with Yamaha boats. They make great play boats with tons of room that are fuel efficient and pull well for water sports.

Guess Dales semi-open dealership isn't looking so bad now.
Sicamous/revelstoke is the mecca of mountain riding in Canada. You would think that brp would want a presence here. Frenchies

Go on the BRP website and apply to be a dealer. Only open point for a dealership listed is Sicamous. Go figure.

You think they would open a BRPcares center right across from the boulder staging area.

Help people change belts and so forth.

Full service shop.....

Tried to do that a decade ago since our city had no dealer with 70 thousand people and no dealers east of us for hrs.. had a location beside trans canada and the cash to make it work, but dealer 100km away had so much say that they would not allow it.. some what sad, sounds like the same thing here with banner in Calgary, golden and Kelowna, Kamloops.. they dictate who and where the next dealer goes.. but that don’t mean we have to but threw them thou

That sucks. Always helpful when I went in for stuff. Nice people. Can understand it. Never seemed super busy, but it's still a shame. Smaller town close to bigger centers makes it tougher to compete.

They had a fairly good reputation in town and reasonable prices. I think once they stopped doing their turbo business, the revenue dropped considerably. They owner also lost their son last year due to an accident.

Owner shut down his Bow Cycle North store in Calgary as well this past week. Not sure what to make of that?
