Snow was good at Hunters today. 10-20”. Had to drop down into the creeks to find it though. Lots of tracks. Good base, forgot to probe depth.

Didn’t know it was a ladies ride day though. Prob 200 sleds.

Haven't rode Owlhead in a while. Snow was good today. Trails was rough as ch!t and the parking lot smells like ch!t. They really should pump their shithouse out. lol

Had to tow the blown alpha out as well.

Well since buddies grandson got robbed at Hunters on Tuesday we took him to Blue Lake on Wed and discovered in the aftermath of seeing his truck damaged by the B&E, his credit cards and oil stolen he misplaced his beacon. Nice fellow from Vernon sold him a barryvox for 50 bucks so he could ride. There are some good people out there.
Snow is set up and every bit of snow whithin a 2 mile radius of that cabin has been compacted as if the groomer went over it. Nice sunny day and once you pound your way thru the whooped out trails to the hills further out fun can be had doing some climbing in untracked but set up snow.

lol I don't think so. The fellow was a also a retired citizen and a group I have run into several times before. They were sympathetic to the young guys situation.
Smart guys too, cause they all ride summit experts lol.

this was his old tranciever, not the current model barryvox he wasn't using anymore. Gave the kid his email so he could etransfer him later. Very generous I thought

We saw that sled. The motor is locked up. Leaving it on the lake was dumb. It is now encased in 12" of solid ice. It will not be easy to free.

Yeah same here, was there last week, the Heli bill is gonna be real cheap compared to the environmental fines... not to mention if the guy from Peopletoba is trying to claim insurance on it.

Should see the comments on the Sled Sicamous site. Embarrassed to be a sledder. What has happened to this sport?
