This is where Canada, as a cultural mixing pot, could really take a page out of the Asian culture. The Japanese put there elderly on a pedestal, and are treated with the utmost respect. The elderly are sought after for there wisdom, and words of life expieriance.
Our First Nations people treat their elders with alot of respect as well, but I don't believe it's to the same level as Asians.
