Hello Lady Dirt,

I'm so sorry I have not replied to you yet. I have been terribly busy with work and just havn't had the time to check out the threads on s&m. Yes I bought a Shiba from Maureen a little over a month ago. Her name is Meka and she is absolutely fabulous to have around the house. She loves to give kisses and loves to chase laser dots on the floor. She is now 15 months old. We have also enrolled in an obedience class together so that I can spend some good one on one time with her. Here are some pictures of Meka and the last one is of Meka, the Pug Joey and my boyfriend (My big kid and fur babies).

Here is newt!
I rescued him after he had both back hips replaced.
He was my baby went everywhere with me.
I had to give him away last year when the baby came and I started working up in camp so I couldnt bring him with me anymore.
I miss him dearly great mannered dog and very loyal!

They are such a unique breed and I don't know if I would choose any other...

I love all dogs don't get me wrong but heelers seem to be a favorite for me!

My only furbaby - Thor. He's a 5 year old boxer. Pretty much the best little animal ever. LOVES to sled. Hops right up into his dad's lap as soon as it's fired up. He was born with way too little fur though to go for too long of trips. By the way, hate leaving him at home when we go to Revelstoke to sled. Lots of pet friendly hotels but I can't find any pet sitting places for just during the day. Anybody know of anybody that watches dogs for the day in that area?




P.S. "Bo" the cat in some of the pictures on previous posts may just be cute enough to convince my husband that a cat would be a great idea.

She's beautiful Snow Bunny! Congrats. I know that you will LOVE her I know I have seen her before at the kennel but there are just so many and I forget all the names and faces easily. I can't wait until I get another one
