Should I take off the insulation on my pipe?

Got my pipe off my 15 xm hit a tree needed new bumper bought a bm bent my pipe a little while it's off should a guy take that extra insulation and cover off the pipe?

Nope, pipe needs heat to work properly

I dunno, I ceramic coated the pipe and y-pipe on my '04 and it ran just fine without the insulation.

guys at my sled shop were ceramic coating pipes on xp's to keep even more heat in it. my sled really doesn't like a cold pipe ...

Ceramic Coating helps. Just leaving it bare steel wouldn't be the same.

Ceramic coat or leave the stock shell on it. Everyone I know with pipe wrap is always having to rewarp no matter how many hose clamps are on it.
