I live in the North...so we tend to play in many different areas; trail, deep powder and of course mountains...

The local dealer here has three sleds 2009 RMK 800 Dragon, 2010 RMK 800 Dragon, and 2011 Pro Ride RMK 800. They are for sale @ $7200, $7700, and $8000 respectively.

Mileage is as follows: RMK 2009 - 6 hrs on a new mill, RMK 2010 - 1000 miles, 2011 1300 miles

There is one more part to this equation....2010 Assault 146 track with 500 miles on it....private deal and in pristine shape $8000 OBO

I have no idea what to buy...

I presently ride a RX1 Mtn and love the power...HELP!!

Personally I would stay away from the 2008-2010 800cc just because they are time bombs waiting to go !

The 2011 is a great sled package, last year I rode over 3000 miles on mine without any issues, rebuilt clutches @ 2500 miles.

I agree with Digger, the 2011 is the way to go, just an all around better sled. I had an 08 Dragon and loved it, after one ride on the Pro the Dragon was up for sale.

Dont know if you got my email...

There is a 2010 AC M8 Sno Pro for $7500 OBO but its a private sale?

Are the 2011 Pro rides that much better?

Lastly 1200 miles on a 1 year old used sled scares me a tad....wonders if it was the dealer demo?

Go for the 2011. Much better chassis, and the 2008 to 2010 Poo 800's have issues.

I owned 3 M-series since 2005 and they are a great reliable machine that will perform on the hill. I rode 3000 hard miles on my 2011 Pro last season without any issues. Check on the Pro, it may have warranty remaining. Either choice your body will thank you at the end of the day.

yea stay away from the 2008 to 2010, go with the pro even if it had 10,000 miles before buying the older poo poos.

I've never been on a dragon but know a couple guys that have combined to put 8 motors in their 2 dragons. I would chose the pro.

Also, came of a 2010 M8 and went to a 2011 pro... I do prefer the pro but the M8 is still pretty nice. you can't go wrong with either but my vote is 2011 pro.

Me and my brother had 7 motors combine on our 09 dragons, go pro, stay away from 08-10 dragons!
