Everyone has some great ideas or products that work real well around the
Machines / trucks / RV etc...
So I thought it would be a good idea to share them amongst the members ...

Here are a few items I use a lot of on my builds and around the home site ...

Aircraft cable : cheap , strong easy to work with , never rusts .... Etc
I was sick and tired of losing pins / bolts / hooks ... So if I need it to stay just add this and crimp it .. Great stuff !

Puck board , it's magic stuff ! You can bend it , cut it , drill it , sand it , paint it , decal it .... But can hardly break it !
Gotta like that ....and it's cheap !!
I have built roofs , skid plates , emblems , brackets ..... You name it

Good quality Care-a-beeners too.

The ones that don't fall off when traversing the buck-brush.
I use them on my cargo boxes to make sure the latches stay closed and for ignition keys too.

I use spray nine on a soft rag to get bugs off of lights, windshield and chrome

Spray nine is like my Franks hot sauce, but for cleaning. I use it on tires, black plastic trim, floor mats. I don't use it on headlights after it destroyed a few sets. Back in my Ambulance days we used to get rid of bugs, but we didn't get it all off before getting another call and it put little plastic like cracks in the headlights. Oops.

Having a beer fridge right in the garage is extremely important.Imagine how much time you would waste waiting for your wife to bring beer from the house!

Instead of lock-tight, we switched over to RVT silicone since a person can tread bolts easier into aluminum with out snapping them off when removing later on.

Seems to work good in different applications and lessons the chances of a bolt falling out or coming loose.

you have to have a beer fridge in the garage there is never enough room in the house,besides if she does bring you a beer she will ask you what your doing, and a hour explaining is a waste of your working drinking time. after 38 years of marriage your shop is a place to hide and pretend you are fixing something
