I have a set of fox float 2 that I just had rebuilt for for my 2012 summit x. I just upgraded to a 2016 x t3. My question is....are the floats much of a better shock than the stockers on the 2016. And will they fit. Thanks for any advise.

As mentioned above the old S38 front ends had longer shocks. It is possible to make them fit but it will raise the height of the sled in the front and they will be really harsh on small bumps. You could try selling them out east where they still run the wider front ends.

I thought 2012's came with the s36 front end? Anyway I don't like floats at all but yes they're still better than the stock KYB's and the s36 will fit the T3 front end.

The kyb on the RAS front end work really good especially if they are revalved. Im not a fan of fox floats anyway.
