shock upgrade '06 Rev

i have a '06 rev 600 sdi summit adrenaline and i was thinking of upgrading the shocks as mine appear a little worn out. i don't know a great deal about this regarding prices ect except that the stock ones are about 450 a piece, (so says the dealer) so i'm just wondering what other guys have done, thanks

I cut off the sway bar and put floats on my Rev. LOVE them! Should be able to find some used ones for a couple hundred less than retail.
