Shock swap

I have been told that shocks from a 2022 154 expert won't fit on my 2018 165 sp. Because the front end is narrower and rear has different mounting .Is this true?

Flase. 34" and 36" are the same length.
The rear skid shock on a 175" is different. All other shocks are interchangeable between track sizes, trim levels and years in the summits. Valving varied a bit though.

Valving must be different though, different leverage?

What's the OAL of your SP shock? I'm guessing close to 16". I have a 2020 175 summit x, and a 2022 summit expert in my shop both shocks same length.
