Well here we are in the full swing of spring 3 months after a major knee injury and I felt the need to mess myself up again. Was out at the dirt jumps thursday night getting ready for the summer of motocross and it happened. Flying into the first jump with too much speed cleared it landed flat. Wheel went sideways and tossed myself into the next jump full speed. Hit so hard put a small crack in my moto helmet and broke my collar bone in two places... the pic is just my shoulder but I have 4 other bruises on my legs and hip that are just as bad....anyone else hurt yet...lol

Shifty, your just too hard on that body of yours...however as they say, no pain...no gain. Been there lots over the years. At your age you heal fast, mine is a bit slower.
Take care and let it heal well.

Cheers.

I have a saying I like to live by...Pain is pure! Pain is the only thing in life that won't lie to you, if it hurt it hurts that all there is to it...lol The only time I crash is when I am pushing myself harded than before and if I stop pushing how do I get better! Oh well I am young now might as well get it out of my system...but if I hurt myself again in the next 4 months my girl told me she would take my sled away...so I am going to be good for the summer:fear:

Good news is I dont feel the knee at all any more...

WERE YOU WEARING A TECVEST, OR BODY ARMOUR OF ANY KIND??? IT CRACKED YOUR HELMET??? WHAT KIND OF SHAPE IS THE BIKE IN???

I was wearing my full pressure suit for the wreck...hit the ground so hard the mesh in my chest protector cut up all the skin around my left shoulder! Landed fully on my shoulder and side of my face. By far the fastest and hardest I have ever hit the dirt.:stretcher: The bike is fine other than a twisted bar from when she hit the dirt. It was a good day untill that point and in 4 weeks I will be out to play again...:crutch:
