Thats funny, the dealer told me to add it. I never checked the instructions. I have been mislead and now misleading others.. lmao.
I hear of guys adding an extra black washer for better backshift....So why not add the shift assist to the 2 washers?
I found with the factory secondary set up the backshift was lazy. I went to a torsional kit and that went away.
