I have not seen any failures with Uponor fittings.

Thanks for the info!! I am going to give the SharkBite fittings a try. Not a big job and none of the fittings will be behind a closed wall.

I used one to temp fix a humidifier fail at rental. It worked great for a quick 11pm fix imo.

Cut it out later but just to tie proper fitting back in for humidifier.
