Service antytheft Deterent system

Just pick up from the ONLY Dealer that Would Help me out.
SouthFort Chev. in Fort Saskatchawan AB.

Cheers to Brandon, the service manager, He fix me up when
3 of the other deales I called would not get me in until late next week.
Young guy, but know what it means to a customer to be helped out and
when all the the tecks go home he came in on Saturday to get this done.
Wow thats Service...

The Fix was, to reprogram the theft system only the dealer can do.

Reason We think Truck did not read key.
Key must of came maybe in contact with Magnet or...
I Just got a new cell phone holder and it does have a strong Magnet to hold the flip cover over.

Best I can say is treat your Keys with care they can make your Life HELL if they do not work.

Truck works normal again.

SouthFort Chev. in Fort Saskatchawan AB. was a great help to me also. had the tranny done at another shop and I guess you need to program a code into the radio when the battery has been disconnected. well me being in BC phoned a few GM dealers here and they all said it has to be brought into a dealer and will cost $50 and up. well girlfriend lives in the fort so when I went there for the weekend I took it to SouthFort Chev. in Fort Saskatchawan AB. the guy fixed it and didnt even charge us. two thumbs up to SouthFort Chev. in Fort Saskatchawan AB. you dont find service like this any more at the dealers. whish I knew there e-mail to send them this post.

You could have called Me I probably could have brought the Tech2 Tool home from work and done it at Your place.If you have internet at Your place I can access the G.M. info and Diagnosis from there.

I was going to get Ryser to walk over.

down to the shop to do the reprogram any way's.:d:d:d

That was Tuesday...
Not Thursday and my truck was parked for the night at the bar.
