Aw, Rusty mylove. We are all looking at the mountains each morning when we get up, hoping and praying. The waiting is even worse when you live right here. Supposed to be a big year for snow.

Nothing much to speak of yet. Supposed to snow this weekend and into next week. Will see and will post pictures as soon as it happens. Maybe you should come out for a weekend anyways. Do some quadding with the boys.

I think that the next couple of weekends they will be working on trails, cabins, etc. Enlarging of Renshaw Parking lot is pretty well complete. New heater going into Bell cabin, levelling of Lucille cabin, getting propane tanks up there, some brush work - lots to be done.

pic's of the renshaw parking lot, a bit bigger than last year. should add up to 30-35 units easy. no more parking on mountainview road. also for the spring riders the parking at km 2 was increased as well, last 3 pic's.
Lucille parking lot was expanded as well, no pic's.

Picture of Lucille this morning. Sorry about the picture quality - that's the best I could do. Renshaw is socked in right now but there looks to be even more snow on the Rocky Mountains side. Unless it warms up considerably, this snow should stay.

We got a good dump on this side of the hills too Judy (50 miles by GPS from my front door to main street McBride). The kids were sliding at the toboggan hill after school yesterday. I'd guess about 4" in town is what we ended up with. Should be gone by the time I get home today; they are calling for around 15* here by the weekend.

Hey Shredder - we still need to figure out how to get from your house to ours without going through any restricted areas. May be something to work on this winter.
