Put it back. I would think that more people are looking at stock machines over modded ones. Whats done to it?

Yeah that's what I figured. It has a 2.5 camo extreme. Dalton adjustables. Dalton helix. Full slp exhaust. Air horn boysen reeds. New style seat. Bar riser

To me thats not modded. When i hear "Mod" i think of engine work. The mods you have on your machine are usefull mods that make that sled work better while still having reliability and not having to tune it, but if you want to sell the adjustable weights let me know.

Think of it this way. You might recoup 25% of your mods (or Extras, excuse me,, LOL) You throw 2000$ worth on, you might get an extra 5 hundy for the sled, but only to the right buyer.
YOu will always get more money back if you sell separately. Things like clutch kits, you may not because they are a wear item. etc.

All I'm asking if it's worth my time to pull off my extras and put the stock back on and sell the extras or leave them on and sell the stock parts???

My view when I was looking to buy a used machine was that a stock one with low mileage was probably not ridden hard and/or abused - one that had been modified was probably ridden harder and pushed to it's limit more. That may not be always the case but it in my mind it made sense and to me a stock one was worth more. On the other hand there are guys who spend lots of money and tend to take care of their stuff more. Depends on who and why I guess.

If mod or upgrade makes the sled work better why take it off.
Sell stock and the new owner finds he will need the extras to make it work.
M1000 is perfect example.
Piped and tuned they make power and torque.
