It is a little bit farther but in Blue River...
Call Patti at The Blue Jewel/Holy smoke inn.. Good ppl and great hospitality in Blue River.

The Best Western in Valemount is good they lock the gate at night. And have camras in the parking lot.

Super 8 also has cameras on the parking lot.

super 8 also has a guy walking the parking lot all night, but only friday and saturday.

Best Western has great rooms, a pool, hot tub, and the restuarant has really good food.

The parking lot has a locked gate and they park the van across the access so no vehicles can get in or out without askng at the front desk.

If you call ahead and book a room (highly reccommended) let them know your coming for sledding and they have a special rate.
