Yup they can... I just decided to shine it up and replace the hinges to extend it's life. The thing kept flying open unexpectedly.

Until I saw said box....I couldn't visualize where you said "the thing (box) kept flying open un-expectantly"....I was going to ask my wife if this is a common issue.....I'm glad I waited for the picture............

Not really, thread was about Maxwell and then somehow we all got on about Mommas floppy box that's all shiny and pretty and Bogger got to touch it at the after party at one of the sled shows.

Ohhhhh I will be at the sled show this year and if you would like your picture taken with my box I can make that happen for a donation to my Sled Kid's avalanche education fund!
