Well, now you don't have to worry about backing up anymore if you want to use "spring style". My new patent pending "REVERSIBLE" design has twice the spray as my traditional spring style scratchers. I ran them all last winter and they work awesome!

Thanks!! Yes....definitely an improvement. I am using the same spring steel as I have in the past on my other scratchers and I cast a the "ski" out of 314 stainless so there is no rust. I ran these on my own personal sled last season and even though I may be biased, they WORK! Due to the downward force of the spring and the width of the stainless ski, there is about twice the amount of snow spray as my standard ice scratchers. So for anyone removing coolers or for the Poo Pro guys with the tiny cooler, these should work well.

My Canadian distributors will be sending these out to dealers early next week and I am not sure what they will be retailing for but seeing my standard scratchers retail in Canada for about 59 to 69 bucks, these ones will retail for a bit more due to the stainless hardware. Unfortunately I do not have distribution south of the border yet but working on it.

I know some guys that tried the cable ones but tossed them after trying them. They don't put enough pressure down to do any good on a frozen trail. Stay with the spring type ones IMO.

not sure how they would work for ya mike, you always seem to have a screw loose.

the 2 inch bolts work and work well, put em on whenu unload and don't worry about them all day until u get back to load up. then remove. did i say cheap and work well.

i find scratchers on the ski will kick more snow into the front of the suspension, thus more cooling and lubrication. hear good and bad on cable scratchers, i have the spring type mounted as far forward on the tunnel as i can get them. but i also use a 2 inch bolt in the back of the inside of the ski. this works the best of all, on and off at the trailer, costs maybe $ 2.50 easily replaced, and will throw more snow into the skid frame than any other i've seen. and work the best in icy conditions.

Agreed.. Didn't work worth a chit lol.. But after snapping 2 sets of the spring type I had to try them lol.. Always seem to forget to put them up at the end of the trail.. Too excited at that point lol
