Put a snatch block on the sled and run the line to the snatch block and back to the winch, it doubles your pulling power.

My wife doesn't allow any snatch on sledding trips. All single line herePut a snatch block on the sled and run the line back to the winch, it doubles your pulling power.
I'm curious, how do you unload your bike? I'm comfortable riding up, but going down is always a little sketchI use mine like once a week and with the rope I don’t see any wearing on the deck. I have only changed the rope once just for peace of mind. Usually loading bike, snow bike, or jet ski. The only thing I will ride up the ramp is a sled. I have had the deck for 8 yearsView attachment 237673
With both my street bike and dike bike I just use a lifting sling around the pegs and to the winch line. Pull up by walking beside and balance the bike. Going down I just let out enough line to get the back wheel on the ramp then just walk the bike down will using the winch going out. That’s what’s nice about wireless controller. I also mount a wheel chock on the deck for the street bikes. The dike bike wheel is to skinny and doesn’t works well so usually just tie them down.I'm curious, how do you unload your bike? Nice. I've got the same deck, with winch and wireless controller. Just never use it...
