I was told by my DM that all 4 manufacturers donate to lobby groups to fight against these type of closures. I don't know the number they each give but he said it was substantial.

Be nice if a guy could figure out which lobby groups to support.

Seeing as how the only lobby group anyone is aware of fighting these closures is the BCSF, then maybe Donegal could tell us if they are actually receiving a penny direct from the big 4. Otherwise I say it's time they stepped up and showed us who they support that is fighting for WESTERN Canada closures.

Wow, people who are actually willing to fight for your rights to play in the backcountry, regardless of what passion you have and it sits at $59G. Don't get me wrong, it's not a small chunk of change.
And now I'm going to be an a-hole. But if there's a tragic incident, people are willing to donate money without thought. I guess this has to be at the darkest hour before reality sets in.
If this statement offends you, don't care. I don't want to hear it. Wake up people. If you don't fight or support this, Snow and Mud as per example, will turn into Thoughts and Pictures cause we will not have any areas to enjoy!
