I was looking at my sled a few months back and noticed one of the front springs is sacked out about an 1" or 2" so I reckon I need to replace them. At the cost of new springs, would a set of Fox Floats be a better investment? I keep reading about how altitude changes affect them but don't understand why or what happens exactly. What is considered big altitude changes? Most of my riding is between 3500' and 7500'. Is this considered alot of change?

I gotta do something but really can't justify buying new springs from doo simply because of the cost. Pretty sure my shocks need a rebuild as well so that is also an extra cost I need to consider.

Well I pretty much got my answer over on dootalk so I got the floats question answered and have manged to find a set of titanium springs from an XRS for cheap so am going to go that route with rebuilt shocks.
