Sag in rear with two sleds on deck?

I have to call BS to some of the comments

2006 GMC 2500 HD -
Marathon Truck Boss deck - 350 lbs
with 2 sleds with gas - 1000lbs
- additional fuel under deck - 150 lbs

you are close to 1500lbs

we run ait bags on both 2500 hd because they do sag and the air bags are faster to level the truck head light/driving/fog lights that trying to readjust the lights to the load..

BUT put 2 quads and connect to a holiday trailer and the back axles are over weight but air bags make it look/ ride at the same hight as empty

after a couple of trips it is easy to figure out what air bag pressure you need to ride level and comfortable

one truck has the built in compressor to adjust on the go -- thats nice - thats my next purchase a compressor

Bags are cheap and very easy to install yourself -- once you use them you would not go back.

I can't find the pic of my truck with two sleds. But two quads are heavier
But it doesn't sag Sits level but the lights will be up for sure
Depends if the springs are sagged out or not.

1 set of bags on transferred up on the third truck now = approx 1000000kms still work fine no built in compressor just use 12v adapter in trailer plug and $9 crappy tire pump as for air lines made sure they were good to start with and ran them inside 3/8 rubber airline and never had an issue the push in style connectors and a little windex ensure there are no bubbles and never touched till I pulled em out and transferred them to next truck

3406 looks waaay cooler. got er right to the front for added front end bite, she would push through the corners bad when it was directly over the drivers.

LOL air bags are the best way to go. Did u notice the 3000 lbs was Centre way forward of the rear axle in your long box.The big deal here is if it is a long or short box. I run a 3/4 ton dodge long box which puts the Centre of mass of the two sleds and deck way forward and sag is minimal. On my buddies short box 3/4 ton dodge same year same load he has his headlights pointed to the tree tops. Pure physics boys!

Put a set of super spring in your truck and you will never use air bags again

If they're installed correctly, air bags are normally trouble free. The benefit is, when you're not hauling a load, drop the air bag pressure down to 5 psi and you don't affect ride quality.

X2 i put on my 99 2500 airbags and 435,000 km still working when i sold truck, i deal with the 5000 firestone if anybody wants a prices. Install the right way and never look back for sure...

Or maybe geometry. Buy yeah, noticed that too.

My short box duramax sagged quite a bit. I added load levelers to compensate. Wasn't a new truck so the springs were likely tired.
