If you didn't realize it was pooched then I wouldn't think twice about riding it as is. It'll be rough on the trail in but once your in to the fluff who needs shocks...unless you're into drops and jumps.

good luck darcy, we had a guy with his XP in revy same thing was sitting real low, but he rode all weekend no isue,
I have a 1 foot chunk of 2x4 ya could slip in there to keep it firm for ya, bahaha
have a good ride man

LOL,

That is not good advice. He is simply dealing with a rear shock issue. If he were to buy a Cat, think of all the problems he will have then. The problems would range from low output engines, clutches, florescent colors from the 80's etc...... It would be mind-blowing.

Much better off replacing the shock.
