My girlfriend is new to sledding. She grew up riding a dirt bike and the big chrome later. She is a very accomplished and confident motorcycle rider. Scary actually. I think she will take to mountain sledding quite easily but we have not bought her a sled yet. Got it narrowed down to 2006 M7 141, 2007 RMK 600 155, and a 2008 RMK 700 155. All low miles sleds. I ride a 2010 SKIDOO Summit 800 163 and it is too much sled for her to throw around and have ridden my buddies 2007 M7 and I can throw it around so easily its ridiculous and am leaning towards the M7 for her. I have heard these mid to late M series sleds are the easiest handling for women riders but have a buddy who is a Polaris mechanic so the obvious advantage to buying a Polaris is him helping out with problems should they arise.
I appreciate brand loyalty but am not generally swayed by it and am open to thoughts. Any input would be gladly appreciated. Thanks!!!!!!!!!
