I am looking for a drop and roll template for my 97 summit chassis. I have called every where I can think of and no one has anything to offer.

So I am hoping that some one on S&M has one collecting dust that I could borrow or buy.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Call CenterPoint (780) 985-2747 - tell them you are looking for a kinetic or sno-stuff drop & roll kit.

You can come measure my 98, but I don't use a template when I do it so you have to make one. Fabcraft might have something on the shelf or be able to pull up the AutoCAD file, give them a call.

Make sure its not the cheesy drop and roll. 5/8ths of an inch isnt worth the time it takes to do it.

Yes that's me, and it's worse now. I just picked up a used tunnel and bulk head and plan on transfering my stuff over to this chassis.

I have a 144" w/2" lugs track, 9 tooth drivers, and a skid that is slid back, it has a drop and roll but I don't think it was done right either.

Here's the problem, do I drop a tooth on my drivers and change my gearing and chain length? Do I do another drop and roll my self? Do I change my track to a 1.75" lug And go to a shorter track and do nothing?

I called center point - no luck, kenetic is out of business, called fabcraft - no luck, slp - nope.

So don't know what to do now.

Made some more calls today and found out that has the goods. I can safely say that they are the only ones left, so save your self the time and cost of phone calls. S chassis drop and roll templates, they are the guys!

I got the templates and the guard from them for $150 shipped. I was told I need to modify the support for the chain case side trailing arm mount? Does anyone know what this involves?

Thanks for all the help guys, this POS  will be good one day, it does run though. See :d

Yes, any significant change for a D&R will mean modding this mount. What I did was make a "T" brace off the bulkhead and tunnel, and then mounted the trailing arm mount to this to move it back to the original position. You probably will only be able to keep about 1/2 of the original arm mount, but that's all you need. I tried to take pics of my setup before for someone else on here, and I just looked at them again, but I can't get good pics of this area with a camera, you need to see it to understand what I did. Its not really that hard though. Just some fabrication time.
