I don't get it.
One shock is $700 but a whole S-36 kit with two shocks A-arms etc is the same price?
WTF is the logic there?
Regardless if the shocks are the same that's retarded!

You do seem kinda worked up... don't you have sleds and parts to sell?

my prime example is going to be pro armor doors for my commander. local dealer price, 920...US price 499. shipped to my door for taxes in etc for 640. that is fawking ridiculous, and bordering on criminal. this is the kind of stuff I buy stateside, like i said, i get BRP parts from the local dealer. I'm all about supporting local, and yes, I buy all my hugely inflated clutch parts from the dealer too.

you stated "No loyalty whatsoever here" and I'm saying it's a broad statement and total bullch!t. there is no cost savings by getting BRP parts from the US and shipped here.

A.. Ya... I DO have stuff to sell.... CANADIAN STUFF! lol.
B. TEEROY.... Chill your bones bud... Im TRYING TO SAY IM TALKING ABOUT BRP STUFF....OEM stuff! And NO its not total bullch!t there is people on here constantly bringing crap across the border... Machines... Parts... WHATEVER. They dont realize.... That DOESNT help anything but in fact makes it worse. You buy your stuff from your dealer... thats what Im saying.. THATS GREAT.

well, gotta eat a bit of crow here. just called the dealer about a new recoil for my '08, $202....I'm sure the last one I bought years ago was closer to $400...? Glad to see the price now somewhat reflects the quality...lol.

Maybe your thinking stator they are 400
I think the last one I got was for a series 3 800. maybe I'm confused, I seem to remember thinking the price was crazy. it was the one they upgraded from the plastic spindle to a metal one.

It looks like KTown needs to quit being so cheap and pony up the $700....

you would think he would easily have some disposable cash laying around from the after hours table dances

Well, regardless if the price was out or not ( I think the later,) the S-36 kit saved me well over a G in repairs... MAINLY because MY REPUTABLE DEALER showed me the price difference between buying separate parts compared to the S-36..... Encouraged me to go with the S-36 kit because of its price....

Now I got a complete sled + spare parts..... (Only diff is my shocks have red accents, wich i dont mind anyway, gives a seperation to the black all over the place)

You show me another dealer that cares as much about its customers Ill definitely eat some crow, but I KNOW NO OTHER SHOP that would rather sell you a kit with double the parts for HALF THE PRICE!!!

Most, if not all others will sell you parts individually and make a killing off of it..... Instead of helping a guy out, getting him going and being the better man for it......

Rant over.....

I put an s-36 on my freeride last year and one on my wife's 09xp this year. I don't find it tippy it's just easier to flop over and more maneuverable. Love it and great deal IMHO!

X2…………^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I used the kit on my 2010 and it was a new machine. My wife rode that for a year and she loved the fact that carving was very easy. Not too tippy at all, just easier and more responsive.

Yes it's only 2 inches narrower, in fact the tie rods are only 1.5" shorter. But it makes a big difference.
