I bought a new rzr 4 900 and wow does it ever make some horrible noise in the front end. I looked it up and its a common noise in the front diff.

Anyone else have this problem. I cant believe Polaris put out a product sounding like this. It's really gross and annoying!

I am pretty sure it's the same diff as a ranger and mine doesn't make noise. Maybe take it in or check it out yourself.

Drop the oil out of the diff and check for filings or chunks of metal. Is the unit new or did you buy used? Maybe the wrong oil was put in the front diff which would cause it to be noisey.

It's new from the dealer. Apparently they put a shim in the front diff and if you take it out the noise goes away, but it was put there by Polaris so if you dont like the noise you get to take it out yourself or deal with the ungodly noise.
They put the shims in the 2015's

Good grief that's shoddy for a machine that Polaris has had great success with

no way mines got any rubber chicken in it, sounds more like a glass dildo in there rattling around.

It will have to be disassembled and inspected
