Hey everyone just letting you's all know that there's an Rv expo this weekend at Northlands, over 15 dealers as well as trade show exhibitors

We went Thursday afternoon. Didn't go to look at a single trailer as we purchased a new one last summer. We were hoping to look at accessories and didn't find much. Woody's was the only dealer that brought any, and a very small selection at that. Was surprised there wasn't a few solar dealers and more options. Could you imagine going to the sled show and only seeing snowmobiles there.

Is this what everyone has been finding? Not much there for looking at? I need to know if it is worth going to on Sunday.

That's what I've found the last couple times I've gone. VERY disappointing. Hey. If you're shopping for a new trailer, this is your show. Anything else? Save your money.

Edit... You can more than likely pick yourself up a new Sham-Wow there too.

Thanks. I have heard it from a few sources now so I'm not going to waste my time going. Got my new trailer so it would not be worth it.

Ya to be honest it wasn't that great, reddeer put on a bigger show and more parts and accessories in my opinion it was a good way to kill some time but I won't bother again

I went. Grabbed some brochures. Helped my sister get some ideas on some trailers for her and her hubby. Kicked some tires. Laughed at the size of some of the huge fifth wheels and motor buses. Not really in the market right now. But always like to look

Ya they look nice but the workmanship in some of them are absolutely disgraceful for the price a guys pay I expect to have cabinet doors put on straight and stuff not already falling apart, I walked into on 5th wheel the bathroom door at the top was about 2 inch space and at the bottom I would say a maybe 1/8 of an inch, you know I own an older jayco eagle and it's built like a tank, but these new ones I'd be really scared of to buy, I think my favourite brand was courgar they look well made,

This was one of the biggest reasons I bought my used one. It is built better the some of the brand new ones on the lot we looked at. Glad we looked at a pile of them first.

We picked up a 2012 Denali fifth wheel Have completely redone the counter top and cabinets all with new slides and boxes. Save the doors and fronts as they look OK. Same thing with the outside kitchen. I changed everything out from the particle board to 3/4" plywood and even though we added a lot of structure, we broke even weight wise as particle board is so heavy. No idea why they insist on using it. Even the kitchen table was turning into a saucer shape.

The bathroom door is done like that because they pretty much run up to the roof an you need the clearance because they open out and have to clear light fixtures. And that is why I have the noisiest vent fan available :)

I still want to move the spare tire to underneath the trailer from the back bumper. Tons of clearance underneath since I put the lift kit in so it would tow level behind my truck. Like everything else (house, car, sleds, quads, lawn equipment) there is always some kind of a project or repair that needs to be done.

I was disappointed in the show, either my expectations for what I'm looking for are too high, but why is it so hard to find a quality built, true four seasons unit with bunk beds under 35ft, the only one we found was a reflection built by Grand Design, anyone have one???
And what was with the blue LED theme in the units, but there were some stupid nice fifth wheels and toyhaulers there.

Nice unit but it's over 35ft and it's built on the east coast.
